Q: When should I have a make up and/or hair trial?
A: The sooner the better, that way you ensure the makeup/hair artist is reserved for your wedding day, and have one less thing on your “to do” list.
Q: Do I have to go through a trial before I book with MIXX?
A: Many MIXX brides who feel more comfortable securing their date first can do so. A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure the artist and/or stylist.
Q: Why should I hire a Make Up Artist for my wedding day?
A: We are professionals that know how to apply the right products to make sure you look flawless both in person and on camera. At MIXX we listen and provide the look to compliment you as well as the feel of your wedding. Plus the bride should be pampered on her special day.
Q: How long will my makeup last?
A: The preperation of your skin and finishes added to the final look all ensure your make up with last throughout the day. The only thing you will need to touch up is your lipstick/lipgloss. If you tend to have oily skin blotting papers are a great solution.
Q: How long will it take to apply the makeup on the day of?
A: The makeup for the bride usually takes 40 minutes. The rest of the party are 30 minutes each, add 5 minutes for faux lash application. In general, hair is 45 – 1hour for the bride, approximately 40 minutes for the rest of the party. (depending on styles) At MIXX we will assist with setting timing goals and always arrive 15 minutes before start time.
Q: Do you provide mobile services?
A: Yes we provide a fully mobile service. A small travel fee applies, please contact us and provide your city with major intersection to have this quoted.
Q: How should I prepare my skin?
A: Regular facials, and a good skincare routine are ideal. If you will need any facial waxing done, be sure to have it done at least 2 days prior to the wedding day. On the morning of your big day make sure your face is cleansed and moisturized.
Q: What types of products do you use?
A: We only use professional brands such as, MAC, Chanel, Makeup Forever, Ben-Nye, and MIXX, just to name a few.
Q: Do you offer makeup for all skin tones?
A: Yes, we have a great deal of professional experience with all ethnic skin tones.

Q: How do I reorder a custom created MIXX product?
A: With every personal shade creation, MIXX builds your client profile with all blends created for you. All formulas are kept on file and can either be picked up at our studio once we are notified to replicate, or can be mailed out to you for a small shipping fee.

A: The KIT includes the best and most sought after shades and tones. Each month MIXX features a new product that will add to your artistry, and possibilities of creating new colours and shades, As a Pro Mixologist, you will be sent monthly updates on new releases.
Q: After I purchase my KIT, how will I learn to create my own shades?
A: With each purchase of a MIXX Pro Kit, you will be welcomed to join our mixology workshop. We will demonstrate all the possibilities the KIT brings to your MUA profession. It will include how to MIXX the products, fill, selling techniques, options for marketing material as well as sanitary requirements.
