Hot and humid summer day, typical of Toronto summers, especially those of 2011.
We shot MIXX’s annual creative shoot and through all the sweat it was a blast! On set in the middle of the forest, with over the top wedding gowns we wanted to show how MIXX’s make up and hair stood the test of time and of course, the HEAT. Our group shot was taken after 5 hours of intense heat exposure and they all still looked FANTASTIC!

Little one asleep, Husband at a work party and in the mood to write. However, my little girl has managed to get her hands on my camera and she’s won this round of hide and seek cause I just can’t find it!

When Silvana asked me to be the make up artist at her once in a lifetime Creme de la Creme Workshop, I was so happy to accept! As she’s worked with so many make up artists, this was a great compliment. On my birthday, working was a pleasure!
Having brides come in for make up trials and admit to stalking her website, wishing they were one of her brides – waiting for the images was torturous!!!
We set up at the Estates of Sunnybrook, the McLean House. Marta, a mom with a one year old at home and of course a candy junky with an awesome body was a delight to work with. Bleach...
If every bride could be like Joyce, the world would be a better place!
Thanks for being such an easy going bride! We had fun stepping out of the traditional “bridal make up” and went with a smokier look with grey’s and darker grey’s.
She wore her hair all to the side with the now popular bird cage veil.
In keeping with the Filipino tradition – she had her wedding gown custom made and didn’t try it on until the day of her wedding – brave soul!!
It all worked out because it fit her like a glove, she looked gorgeous!
